Chocolate Mud Slime

That stuff on her hands looks like real mud but it’s not. It’s actually a chocolate mud slime I made with my preschool class that’s also fun to make at home with the kids I love the way it smells! It keeps your hands smelling like chocolate long after you’re finished with it. The recipe is super simple. You only need 3 things :

  • cornstarch
  • water
  • cocoa powder

Just mix the three ingredients together by stirring. I start with a 1:1:1/4 ratio (cornstarch to water to cocoa powder) but you can add more cornstarch or more water to make it more or less slimy to your preference.

If you’re not digging the color of the mud slime (it does look kinda like poo….) you might want to try adding food coloring to the slime instead. Just a few drops in the mixture before stirring gives you a great vibrant color.

Have fun!
